Globally pioneering, Weflying has created a ducted fan propulsor based tethered high-altitude firefighting unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). It is a highly integrated product of high thrust ducted fans with a firefighting truck ground carrier. As so confined within the firefighting truck size (10*2.55*4 meters), this UAV can ensure arrival at a fire spot in the first place to secure instantaneous engagement and rescue effectiveness. It also has strong and endurable firefighting and rescue capabilities to rapidly ascend to 100 meters, meanwhile discharge a spray of fire extinguishing liquid at a continuous volume flow rate of 30L/s. As will be the next-generation main firefighting equipment, this product can thoroughly resolve the global fire rescue challenge for high-rise buildings across cities.


Pain Points of the Scene

Traditional rotary wing based firefighting UAVs are lack of endurable fire extinguishing capability due to limited liquid discharge (volume flow rate less than 3L/s). Traditional firefighting trucks are limited by low effective operational altitude, and typically suffer from slow response and low efficiency, etc. This used to be an unresolved challenge worldwide.

Strong Fire Extinguishing Capability

Effective payload 200-400kg; Continuous discharging spray (water or class B foam) at an altitude of 100 meters with a volume flow rate up to 30L/s. These fire rescue capabilities are equivalent to the best of traditional firefighting trucks. Relative to other rotary wing based firefighting UAVs, our product can deliver a liquid discharging spray at a much higher flow rate up to ten-fold, but the overall size is relatively the same.

Far Effective Spray Distance

Equipped with a standard fire hydrant; High spray discharging pressure (0.5-0.8Mpa); Far effective spray distance (not less than 40 meters); These ensure fire extinguishing effectiveness from a far horizontal distance.

High Rescue Efficiency

Overall length is less than 10 meters, ensure arrival at a fire spot in the first place, within 15 minutes after notice of the fire alarm, and instantaneous engagement to firefighting operations, enabling rapid response.
